No one is talking about these courageous engineers and techs who are manning the reactors and pooling ponds! There are 300 of them but are in shifts of 50. I’ve read 2 are missing.
The Fukushima 50 have been working around the clock with little sleep and food. And the raidation exposure is off the charts!
Reading notes from a few of their children, it brings this disaster to a poignant level.
“My dad went to the nuclear plant. I never heard my mother cry so hard. People at the plant are struggling, sacrificing themselves to protect you. Please, dad, come back alive.”
“My father i s still working at the plant. They are running out of food. We think the conditions are really tough. He says he has accepted his fate–much like a death sentence.”
Please keep these dedicated men and their families in your thoughts and prayers. They have risked their own lives to help bring this tragedy to a manageable level. Does the world know this disaster in their hands?
