Mother Teresa’s 100th Birthday!

Mother Teresa PhotoAppropriate to post this story today on Mother Teresa’s 100th birthday!
Below are a few miracles for the Vatican to take notice!

Jim Castle was tired when he boarded his plane in Cincinnati, Ohio, that night in 1981.

The 45-year-old management consultant had put on a week long series of business meetings and seminars, and now he sank gratefully into his seat
ready for the flight home to Kansas City, Kansas.

As more passengers entered, the place hummed with conversation, mixed with the sound of bags being stowed.

Then, suddenly, people fell silent. The quiet moved slowly up the aisle like an invisible wake behind a boat.

Jim craned his head to see what was happening, and his mouth dropped open.

Walking up the aisle were two nuns clad in simple white habits bordered in blue.

He recognized the familiar face of one at once, the wrinkled skin, and the eyes warmly intent.

This was a face he’d seen in newscasts and on the cover of TIME.

The two nuns halted, and Jim realized that his seat companion was going to be Mother Teresa!

As the last few passengers settled in, Mother Teresa and her companion pulled out rosaries.

Each decade of the beads was a different color, Jim noticed.

“The decades represented various areas of the world,”

Mother Teresa told him later, and added, “I pray for the poor and dying on each continent.”

The airplane taxied to the runway and the two women began to pray, their voices a low murmur.

Though Jim considered himself not a very religious Catholic who went to church mostly out of habit, inexplicably he found himself joining in.

By the time they murmured the final prayer, the plane had reached cruising altitude.

Mother Teresa turned toward him. For the first time in his life, Jim understood what people meant when they spoke of a person possessing an ‘aura’.

As she gazed at him, a sense of peace filled him; he could no more see it than he could see the wind but he felt it,

just as surely as he felt a warm summer breeze.

“Young man,” she inquired, “do you say the rosary often?”

“No, not really,” he admitted.

She took his hand, while her eyes probed his.

Then she smiled.

“Well, you will now.”

And she dropped her rosary into his palm.

An hour later, Jim entered the Kansas City airport where he was met by his wife, Ruth.

“What in the world?” Ruth asked when she noticed the rosary in his hand.

They kissed and Jim described his encounter.

Driving home, he said. “I feel as if I met a true sister of God.”

Nine months later, Jim and Ruth visited Connie, a friend of theirs for several years.

Connie confessed that she’d been told she had ovarian cancer.

“The doctor says it’s a tough case,” said Connie, “but I’m going to fight it. I won’t give up.”

Jim clasped her hand. Then, after reaching into his pocket, he gently twined Mother Teresa’s rosary around her fingers.

He told her the story and said, “Keep it with you, Connie. It may help.”

Although Connie wasn’t Catholic, her hand closed willingly around the small plastic beads.

“Thank you,” she whispered. “I hope I can return it.”

More than a year passed before Jim saw Connie again.

This time her face was glowing, she hurried toward him and handed him the rosary.

“I carried it with me all year,” she said.

“I’ve had surgery and have been on chemotherapy, too.

Last month, the doctors did second-look surgery, and the tumor’s gone. Completely!”

Her eyes met Jim’s. “I knew it was time to give the rosary back.”

In the fall of 1987, Ruth’s sister, Liz, fell into a deep depression after her divorce.

She asked Jim if she could borrow the rosary, and when he sent it, she hung it over her bedpost in a small velvet bag.

“At night I held on to it, just physically held on. I was so lonely and afraid,”

she says, “yet when I gripped that rosary, I felt as if I held a loving hand.”

Gradually, Liz pulled her life together, and she mailed the rosary back.

“Someone else may need it,” she said.

Then one night in 1988, a stranger telephoned Ruth.

She’d heard about the rosary from a neighbor and asked if she could borrow it

to take to the hospital where her mother lay in a coma.

The family hoped the rosary might help their mother die peacefully.

A few days later, the woman returned the beads.

“The nurses told me a coma patient can still hear,” she said,

“so I explained to my mother that I had Mother Teresa’s rosary and that when I gave it to her, she could let go; it would be all rosary in her hand.”

“Right away, we saw her face relaxed.

The lines smoothed out until she looked so peaceful, so young.

A few minutes later, she was gone.”

Fervently, the woman gripped Ruth’s hands.

“Thank you.”

Is there special power in those humble beads? Or is the power of the human spirit

simply renewed in each person who borrows the rosary?

Jim only knows that requests continue to come, often unexpectedly.

He always responds though, whenever he lends the rosary,

“When you’re through needing it, send it back. Someone else may need it.”

Jim’s own life has changed, too, since his unexpected meeting on the airplane.

When he realized Mother Teresa carries everything she owns in a small bag, he made an effort to simplify his own life.

“I try to remember what really counts – not money or titles or possessions, but the way we love others,” he says.

May God bless you abundantly.

May Mother Mary ask her Son Jesus to shower you with grace.

Please feel free to pass this mail on, especially to all those in despair so that they might know that they are not alone in their hour of need.

I sent you this mail because I know the power of the prayers of these simple beads and I wanted to share it with you.

Every sacrifice has a fruitful reward.

Every failure has a second chance.

We only have to be strong through God’s grace and persevere in life’s many tests!

May God bless you always!

Thank you Jim Castle for the heartwarming story!

The Vatican, Woman Priests, Pedophilia

More confusing news coming out of the Vatican a few weeks ago. There was a statement and comparison to the crime of pedophilia to women priests. Comparing children sex offenders to women priests? I sent the article to a Catholic friend, hoping I read it wrong. He was so angered by this article, which is understandable as it was disturbing. I wonder, why men in the highest religious position, make an un holy statement like this?

What would Jesus think or do?

We are coming into the age of the feminine. There’s such a momentum that there’s no stopping it! If one does their research , women were revered as powerful symbols for thousands of years.

I was so inspired to be on a conference call with the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers last month. Their coming together story is simply amazing! They represent a global alliance of prayer, education and healing for our Mother Earth, all Her inhabitants, all the children, and for the next seven generations to come. They travel the world and share their inspiration, love and wisdom. There will be many more women stepping forward as we move into the coming times. The feminine is needed more than ever.

We have truly lost who we truly are and somehow forgotten we are not separate from our source. No one, absolutely no one, is better than another. I’ve mentioned this before and it needs to be mentioned once again. Take heed, when we leave this earth to watch our life review, which is microscopically shown to us in 3D, we are treated with the same love that the Pope is bestowed with. If someone wants to be a priest, it wouldn’t matter if they were a woman or man. This isn’t important. What I suggest people do who are confused, research. Those who have had near death experiences, and there are hundreds of thousands at this point in time, if they read the statement coming out of the Vatican, they would absolutely shake their heads with confusion and sadness.

In heaven, there’s only LOVE. Judgement is man made.

Change is on the horizon as we approach 2012.

Bad Seeds, The Pope, Christ’s Ministry

I’m in wonder why a statement like-”There are bad seeds among the clergy,”   was made by Pope Benedict?  Shouldn’t the Pope, who was appointed to the highest position in the Catholic Church, have a different perspective?

Maybe something along the line of –”Clearly, the clergy are/were very ill and need physiological assistance. We have removed all offending clergy from their positions and they’ll receive the help they desperately need. The church and I are committed to create a safer environment for our children. We’ll do everything we can to assist in every way possible to resolve what should of been handled many years ago.”

Wouldn’t that be more Christ like?

And isn’t the church part of the weed mix, which included the “bad seeds,”  statement the Pope was speaking about at Fatima?

Again, the old ways are not working in the church or in our world. Look around.  It’s everywhere! We are now knee deep in oil, due to those not thinking about anything more than their pocket books and not looking at the bigger picture.  The bigger picture is showing up everywhere!

Recently, it has been revealed and buried somewhere, the oil companies did not have the proper permits to drill. What? And during a recent interview, someone who stated he was in the “know” mentioned the log book and black box are missing.  Another— WHAT? I found this to be absolutely crazy, that BP is using toxic chemicals to clean up the oil. Why is this allowed when there are others coming forward with safer methods but are being ignored? Kevin Costner, for one.  And now, those who are helping in this exhaustible effort are getting ill.

Our elected officials should be placing this disaster on high priority. Just like what the church should have done.

As I’ve stated in other blogs, the molestations are a major violation to the young and innocent and a sadness I have had a difficult time with, but to call the clergy bad seeds, instead of very ill and disturbed human beings, I’m confused that this statement came from a holy man.

There are reasons for all of the chaos. And some know what the reasons are. Others, still in slumber, not paying much attention. Believing things should be handled the way they’ve always been handled.

The next 4 months will be very interesting with more to unfold. The Mayans warning has been virtually ignored.

The Countdown Has Begun!

As we hear another very disturbing disaster taking place off and on our shores of the United States— thick, greasy oil creeps it’s way on to the gulf coast, along with oil drenched dead sea turtles and fish washing to shore.

More signs are showing up everywhere! Tragically, nature  literally being forced to dramatically show us to WAKE UP!

State by state will begin their journey to WAKE UP!  Gulf coast, are you ready?

What will it take for the masses to change their ways, starting at the human appointed top?

As the financial systems re-just and slowly begin working in a fair manner, it may take them longer to get it as they are so accustomed to doing it their own way–  many still don’t follow the golden rule. But this will change.

As a billion Catholics look in on the shake up of one of the largest  churches in the world, mostly from a far, what really are their views of what’s unfolding with the Catholic Church? I found, some say, they are staying because of their local priest and church/school.  Some, in confusion and want to see what will happens next. Others, moving on.

The Vatican is a separate entity, which is confusing. Why is this? They have their own city, their own bank. The list goes on and on but most importantly, they do not live a life like most in the Church. For one, how many millions are spent of lavish, unnecessary living, year to year? To be comfortable is every human’s right. But we are not talking about just comfortable. The finest this and the lavish that. Is it all necessary or needed? What would Jesus say?  Which brings me to the truest who walk in his image. Like Father Michael Barton of Indianapolis, who works in a remote village outside of Sudan, running 4 schools for underprivileged children. Since 1978, he’s endured beatings, imprisonment, disease. He would be a wonderful role model for the Vatican, wouldn’t he?

And how about Cathy Arata, a sister from New Jersey, worked with battered women in the states? Moved to El Salvador during the civil war to work with Salvadorian people. She’s now working on a project in Sudan. “Solidarity with Southern Sudan”. Training teachers, fighting hunger, establishing a school for health workers. A true mirror image of Jesus’s work?

There are thousands more who quietly do what they are called to do for the betterment of humanity. Isn’t that what has been taught?  Those out on the front lines doing the work, truest mirror image for Jesus’s work as well.

All religions are watching very carefully what’s unfolding in the Catholic Church, but how many know that they’ll also be called to the carpet and begin their wake up journey when it’s time?

As the Mayans have mentioned over and over, the ninth wave is coming.    Transformation on all fronts.

Countdown has begun!

“Lucifer,” Vatican Telescope, In Arizona, On Sacred Apache Land

The Vatican, the Jesuits and the University of Arizona, unveiled a new telescope centered upon Apache sacred ground, on Mount Graham, in Arizona, recently. I’ve been to Indian sacred grounds. I’ve experienced a few situations to influence my belief. I’ve talked to many who could share stories of the ancient laws which spiritually govern holy areas. Many people have not paid much attention to the ancient laws. Placing unauthorized or unwelcomed  ”whatever” on Indian sacred ground, like this telescope, or even taking any sort of sacred symbols, down to the rocks and dirt, without permission or a blessing to do so, could be a nightmare, a real life story for a Dan Brown novel and may add to the growing issues facing the Catholic Church. The church may not believe in this ancient law but it’s as old as the moon.   There’s also so much history on this subject matter and individual experiences, if one does research. People can begin asking the Hawaiians as they have sacred areas on their land and there are thousands of karmic stories available.

I’m curious, why would the Vatican name the telescope Lucifer? To name it Lucifer and then place it on sacred Apache Indian ground? Yikes!  And why is the Vatican interested and want to invest in something like this? Is it about the warning from the New Testament, book of Revelation and the end times? Would the Wormwood star be involved?

When reading…”And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;  And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.” (Revelation 8:10,11-King James Bible)  I was interested in the Wormwood star. Interestingly, there’s a documentary about Chernobyl nuclear disaster and the prophecy. Could there be more to this story?

When I also read, “Jesuit Father George Coyne, director of the Vatican Observatory, indicated he could not find an authentic Apache who thought the mountain was sacred. Father Coyne stated that to convince him that he needed to see evidence of shrines and that he would not accept Apache oral history or statements by Apache-speaking Euro-Americans anthropologists.” I’m taking deep breaths as I finished reading this statement. Oh my..All I can say, dear Father, pray, pray and pray…

Saint Malachy And The Last Pope

Pope Benedict is the 111 Bishop of Rome, celebrated his 5th anniversary on April 12, 2010. The famous Irish Saint Malachy, while he was in Rome, envisioned, while in trance, all the preceding Popes from 1139 till the last, he called, “Peter The Roman.”

I don’t feel there will be another Pope after this Pope. I feel, Benedict will be the last real Pope. Saint Malachy called Benedict,Gloria olivae. And Benedict means “blessed by God.” Saint Malachy was so precise, he quoted family names, birthplaces, coat of arms, to even the office served before the election of the papacy. Absolutely all of his visions have come to pass. Edgar Cayce also prophesied there would be one more Pope after Pope John Paul II.

Fascinating, Jesus gave a prophecy about the end time from the Mount of Olives.  From the Mount of Olives? Is this a clue about Pope Benedict? End time, Mount of Olives?
The tribulation has begun— from the scandals of thousands who were abused and ignored. As Bishops continue to step down, things continue to surface to get purified, from the depths of secrets held for too long.
We will hear the 3rd Secret of Fatima will be part of this unfolding.
Stay tuned.

The Pope, The Church, The Tests

As we continue to hear more evidence coming to the surface about the abuse scandal, yesterday a letter physically surfaced regarding another child abuse issue. The letter, dictated by the Pope, then a cardnal, asking to delay the cruelty allegation, seemed more interested and concerned in protecting the Universal Church and the priest involved.  I’m hoping the translation from Latin to English is wrong.

When comments like “it’s a test for the church and the Pope,” somehow I was thinking, shouldn’t the comments be more about deep, profound sorrow and undying humbleness regarding the decades of evasiveness concerning the endless abuse forced upon the innocent?  Shouldn’t there should be comments of concern and immediate assistance for those whose lives that were turned up side down?  And shouldn’t there be instantaneous action to create a healthier way to deal with all the past errors that were virtually ignored? We are talking about decades of abuse in which extreme measures were taken to protect very, very, very, ill priests, who were allowed to continue to take advantage of their positions as they were moved from parish to parish. Maybe the above are some of the answers to the tests?

The evidence show, children were not the church’s main priority, which is confusing because without children to fill the schools, there would be no Catholic Schools. This is not what Jesus taught nor what was taught to the very children who were preyed upon.

If this ordeal is about tests, let’s do some serious studying because so far the grade is incomplete.

Statistics show, those who abuse, normally have been abused. And then, those who ignore problems, such as abuse, usually haven’t reached out for healthier tools to assist them to handle issues in positive ways. This could be a wonderful opportunity for those who still are side stepping the problems at hand as they do not know any other way as the old way has been in place for eons.

There’s many lessons to learn to be able to complete the tests brought before the Pope and the church.

I ask those who stumble upon this blog, to please say a prayer, send healing and positive thoughts that this dilemma begin to resolve in a healthier conclusion.  Amen!

Benedict, The Last Pope?

As the last shoe begins to drop and more of the secrets revealed, will Benedict be the last Pope? An old prophecy mentioned that there will be one last Pope.  Will it be Pope Benedict? Was this an element left out of the genuine 3rd secret of Fatima? Genuine 3rd secret?  Robert D. Kullman, Forensic Analyst of Speckin Forensic  came forward and affirmed that the 3rdFatima secret was a forged version. What?

And, as the new’s continues to unfold, there’s more tumbling out. There are allegations of a Rev. Marcial Maciel of Legionaries/ Mexico, fathered children and violated them as well.  One of his son’s now coming forward and wanting millions in damages from the Catholic Church. Where are the past seminarians he also purportedly abused?  Isn’t it time their voices be heard?

Will this be what they call the greatest tribulation to come for the Catholic Church? It’s been said in prophecy, Cardinals will appose Cardinals and Bishops will be against Bishops? Is this what they are speaking about?

Fred Burks of Peers.org e-mailed a documentary about a man named Larry King of Nebraska, who was involved with The Boys Town non profit run by the Catholic Church. I don’t even want to repeat the small segment I witnessed. I needed to turn it off and say a prayer for all involved!  The documentary was not allowed to be shown to the public. This abuse was also very well known  by those who had full authority to stop it. Truly, it’s more unreal than anything I’ve heard so far— and– for many, many, many years under the watch of the Catholic Church—- AND nothing was done by the Vatican to stop it? Tell me this isn’t true?

The bottom line to all of this, change needs to occur. Some of the old rules that have been in place for eons, espy the celibacy issue—it isn’t working! How many more lives will be turned up side down?

We are in the Chinese year of the medal tiger. It’s a year of old forms collapsing. We are witnessing this before our eyes…

While Benedict is under a microscope for the alleged 2001 church directive that he personally wrote as a Cardinal, to keep this abuse quiet, I’m sure millions would like to hear from the Pope, that he did not write or direct this order?  Then, his brother, Georg Ratzinger, (referencing the choirboy cases), we would like to hear that he didn’t turn a blind eye to the abuse of children under his watch? I’d like to believe this wasn’t true. And a few days ago, news coming out that the Pope (then a Cardinal) knew of the Wisconsin abuse that went on with scores of young, special needs boys. I’d also like to believe there’s something tucked away that states the Pope was proactive to help the very young and innocent before and then after the alleged mounds of letter written by clergy, pouring into the Vatican to investigate the issues. I’m sure there are Vatican notes under lock and key concerning many pending questions that have been not addressed. I would assume they would gladly release them.

To the thousands who trusted the clergy in sacred roles, I hope you can stand on higher ground to forgive those who had/have overstepped their boundaries or turned a blind eye and allowed the cruelty to continue. It seems there are greater reasons this occurred and it’s now unfolding before us.

Thank you, Bishop Joseph Duffy!

Bishop Duffy, thank you taking the risk to step forward to speak out!  For the longest time the world has observed from a far~~~ the child abuse that has occurred for too long, under the watch of the Catholic Church. It was virtually shoved under the thick, expensive Vatican rug. It was also evident there were other matters that took precedence.  Life went on, children continued to be violated, priests were removed from one parish and then sent to another, hiding the violation until it happened again, and again and again and again, which didn’t make sense way back then. Now, since issue has lagged on, it makes perfect sense. All that transpired has only shown a clearly dated and dysfunctional process which has been also adopted by the masses to use in their own family and obviously hasn’t worked by the statistics shown, through the years, of what this sort of behavior ultimately does to a family and a church.

What sort of example were these named Priests and their mentors mirroring to the naïve and to the millions of followers? The named clergy continued the behavior while preaching about sin, while listening and advising during confession, while mentoring those who needed a counselor, while reciting mass and handing out Holy Communion.

Where in the Bible does it say child abuse was honored and accepted? What would Jesus do in this situation? I feel, most would say, not to subject any child to abuse. And most would probably say, get these men immediate help and remove them from an environment which triggers their dysfunction. Some would agree, to somehow come to a place of compassion and forgiveness. I believe, if this above scenario happened way back when the Vatican first heard of the abuse and took immediate action, many followers would of processed this in a different way. It’s so way out of hand at this point– with the latest news of one Priest refusing to step down from the post he took total advantage of.

Today, in the news, it stated the current Pope knew of this problem  way back when it began and issued a letter to all the clergy to keep this a secret. If one Googles this story, it will pop up. If this is true, it reminds me of my own family of how we needed to keep our families secret.  (as I stated above about how the masses used this behavior in their own family) To share it with anyone was to dishonor our family. It took me years to get over the violence targeted at our mother. It was disturbingly embedded in my being and more years to share it with others. I still have siblings who protect and defend the family system, which isn’t unusual as they are incorporating the old system into their own families.  Many church followers who are still in that dysfunctional mode.

Bishop Duffy, it takes great courage to speak out on behalf the innocent. I’m sure this has been a tough road to be the only publicly, honorable example.  Is the control so strong, most fear their positions will be taken away from them if they speak out? The bottom line, do what I say not what I do will not work any longer in any relationship.

What’s not surprising as the dysfunction so ingrained , what is most important to the Priest who refused to step down?  Plainly, it isn’t about the children he took advantage of. Obviously,  he isn’t in true service for the Lord.

Why haven’t the children been protected and defended?

Is this an indirect cry for help that celibacy doesn’t work, especially regarding men? It has been extensively written about that men are wired differently.

This has been a lengthily abusive issue—- why isn’t the Church NOW making the necessary changes?  Lets see how long it takes for the long awaited review and real change to occur.

Each named or unnamed clergy should step down off of their imagined pedestal. They’ve mistreated their respective appointments and hurt thousands, now adults. My hope, that the victims eventually use this significant life occurrence to be passionate advocates for change in a system that is still in denial and isn’t working.
